GIRLS ATHLETE OF THE YEAR
Jazlynn Shearer (Silver Creek) --Shearer has been one of the top athletes in the section. This past season, Shearer was better than ever as she won her third section title in the short hurdles race. She also qualified for the state meet in the 400 relay, long jump and triple jump and was a high point scorer for the winning Silver Creek team. At the state meet, Shearer finished in 4th place in the hurdles with a best of 13.66 (in the trials), 8th place in the long jump and 5th place in the triple jump.
