#10 Great Oak, Distance Relay Teams
Of course, I have probably upset a few people already by naming relay teams as part of my list. But it is my list, so here we go. The Great Oak cross country teams have become the dominant cross country program in California as they continue to sweep the Division I races at the State Meet. Perhaps the time has come for California to have an open division in cross country (hint, hint, CIF!) and if they do, Great Oak would sweep that division as well. On the track, the Wolfpack have been equally as impressive and have taken great pride in winning the distance relays at the big invitationals. This season, they own the fastest times for both genders in the Distance Medley Relay and won both 4 x 800 meter races at the Arcadia Invitational.
