As we rotate weekly published rankings for you, we've come around to an interesting one: our first set of Frosh-Soph rankings for the spring season! This has always been a big hit during cross country, but we haven't brought it out during track season for some reason. It's always fun to spot the individual stars that are coming up from the ranks of California's 9th- and 10th-graders - and some of them are already established stars who can go toe-to-toe with anyone in California in their events! What's even more eye-opening is seeing the TEAMS that have assembled strong collections of young talent, which may make them contenders for section or even state titles in the future.
Most of our rankings features are available around the clock to subscribers, who can generate customized individual rankings, virtual meets, and more! This week's rankings are more specialized and unique, so we will make sure to return to them at least twice more this spring (once right around league meets, and again after the state meet). For now, I hope you find these as interesting as I do!
