3 athletes from the Central Section qualify to the California State Track and Field meet in every event, unless you can surpass the 2018 At-Large Time Standards at your section final. The Valley saw a tremendous class of field event athletes graduate in 2017, especially in the throws, and that means the door is wide open for a new crop of stars to step up and make their names known! There are a few top returning stars as well, including athletes that finished in the top 10 at least year's state meet, and the addition of young talent should make this a very competitive year.
