Per coach Ken Sayles, Capistrano Valley senior Haley Herberg has verbally committed to the University of Oklahoma Cross Country and Track and Field teams. This season, Herberg has been victorious at the Laguna Hills, Dana Hills and Orange County Championship Invitationals. She also recorded a personal best 17:05 at the Mt. SAC Invitational. During the 2017 Track and Field season, Herberg ran a personal best of 4:49.22 in the mile at the Arcadia Invitational and finished in 2nd place at the CIF-SS Masters Meet with a 1600m PR of 4:49.92.
