Allie Ostrander Picks Up Big Win In The Steeple at Stanford Invite

By FloTrack

In her first race since the United States Olympic Trials 5K in July, Boise State sophomore and former Kenai Central (AK) High standout Allie Ostrander won the women's steeplechase at the Stanford Invitational.

It was the first ever steeple for the 2015 NCAA cross country runner-up, who has topped out at 15:21 in the 5K thus far. If her efforts continued at this pace, Ostrander could reshape the NCAA and perhaps the American women's steeple scene.
