Abby Hong (photo courtesy of Ray Vidal) has finally decided her destination for the next four years and it's the University of Pennsylvania. She finished in 6th place at the 2013 California XC state meet Division II race. She raced to a 17:34 personal record on the Woodward Park course which was quite an improvement from her time from the previous season (18:18). Her season was extended several weeks past the state meet as Hong qualified for the Footlocker National meet with a 9th place finish at the Western Regional race on the extended Mt. SAC course. She finished in 30th place in the National Footlocker Meet in San Diego. You can check out Hong's amazing improvement over her four year high school career below.
