Carlos Carvajal (Great Oak/SS) holds of Andrew Martinez (Ayala/SS) to win the 1600m Invitational Double in 4:13.90. The Invitational Double heats are held at the beginning of the evening portion of the meet allowing elite runners to double back later in the day at a different distance. Carvajal did just that in the 3200m where he out-kicked Raymon Ornelas (Roosevelt/SS) to double.
