About Me

Hi! My names is Kevin Coffman. I ran Track and Cross Country for Heritage High school. I fell in love with both sports when i hit the sixth grade. from thats day forward I did nothing but improve. my final year in high school, I accomplished a lot. I finished in fourth in my region meet in cross country. I led our team to a region runners up trophy and almost a region championship. The next week I led our team in the state meet and finished in the top 50. Then my track season came around. Thanks to my Great Track distance coach Ernie Ellis I was able to work and train all year. I had great races all year! I always got first in the mile. It got to the point where my team would chant MR. MILE while I ran. I ran at the region meet and came in second. it was my first loss of the year. I still qualified for the state meet. At the state meet I ran my hardest but not my smartest. so with that I finished 15th at state. Like I said though I didnt run a smart race. I feel I could have done better but it was a great experience for me. As far as future plans I plan to attend college but not sure where yet. I am hoping to find a few scholarships!
