Best times in a 5K and 3 Mile race?

5K: Ran a 17:30 in Woodward Park at the 2010 California XC State Meet.


 

Tell us how your training is going?

It's going pretty well...We have a strong group of girls this  year and it is motivating and encouraging to be running with them.

What are your goals for the upcoming season?

I want our team to make it to NXN and do better than we did last year. (16th place)

How long have you been running and how did you get started?

I started in 8th grade just to try it.  So, this will be my fourth year.

Will you be competing out of state this season?

No, I will not.

Favorite course to run in California?

My favorite course is Morley Field in San Diego.

Toughest course in California?

Mt. Sac is the toughest course to run because of all the hills.

What is your favorite cross country race so far in your high school career?

My favorite race was in 2010 (last year) at the San Diego CIF XC Meet.  It was at Morley Field and it was pouring rain and so muddy!
 

Favorite Cross Country memory?

The night we got home from the State Meet, my team was all together and we got a phone call from our coach telling us we were going to Oregon for Nike Cross Nationals.  We were very excited!

When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?

I love to hang out with my friends, go to the beach, and sleep.
