Moussa; Grabill Named Gatorade Players of The Year!

 The Gatorade Company with Collaboration from ESPN Rise has named junior   Ammar Moussa (Arcadia High School) and Molly Grabill, also a junior (Rancho Bernardo High) Gatorade Players of the Year for California. 

 
The award is given to a player who not only shows excellence in their sport but also in the classroom.  The athletes must also show strong character on and off the course.
 
Moussa had an incredible season taking 2nd at the Stanford Invite and  winning several invitationals including the Asics Clovis Invite, the Mt. Sac Invitational, the CIF Southern Section Prelims and the CIF California State Meet.  Moussa also took 4th at the Nike Cross Nationals in Oregon and won the USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships. 
 
Grabill also had an impressive season placing 1st at the Stanford Invite and the Mt. Sac Invitational.  Grabill also won the CIF California Cross Country State Meet and the Foot Locker West Regionals. She went on to place 12th at Foot Locker Nationals.
