BOYS ATHLETE OF THE YEAR
Henry Larkin (Oakland Technical) - The senior is a four-time section champion at 400 meters and two-time State Meet qualifier in that event. On June 1 at the CIF-State Meet prelims, he ran a 47.89 PR -- his first time breaking the 48-second barrier -- and placed 2nd in his heat to qualify for a lane in the Saturday final.
