Among girls elites, aside from Bernard-Joseph (center above) and Dyer, Carter's Mya Greene (left above) was third in the 110s (14.29) and second to Bernard-Joseph with a 43.28 PR in the 300H that ranks CA #8.

Redlands Citrus Valley senior Kyrah Johnson moved up to CA #8 in the 400 with her 55.89 PR.

Roosevelt junior Alexys Ford moved to CA #10 in the 800 (2:13.91) with Big VIII League rival and perennial State Meet qualifier Rylee Penn of Corona Centennial next in 2:14.30 (CA #13). 

In the pole vault, Apple Valley's Darla Gonzalez (Scott Padgett photo below) won the event with a best of 12-3, which ranks CA #10. Vista Murrieta's Katrina Meier, who has a best of 12-2 that is tied for CA #11, was among four girls to clear 11-9. That list included Alexandria Gray (Chaparral), Tessa Watkins (Roosevelt) and Tamara Bader (Vista Murrieta).
