Due to construction of the stadium, the Mt. San Antonio College course is altered from previous years, and has been realigned somewhat from the Mt. SAC Invitational held in October.

On Saturday, the start will be on the west side of Poop Out Hill with runners heading across "The Saddle" east between Poop Out and Reservoir Hill into the "Valley Loop." They will run the loop twice, as always, before "The Switchbacks" to the long up-and-back to "The Crossover" and left toward Poop Out. It's an up and down on Poop Out with a sweep right toward Reservoir Hill, a fairly flat trek until a right 90-degree turn to a steep climb. Once at the top, cross over Reservoir and down left back onto "The Saddle" to a slight downhill for a lefthand hairpin onto a long finish up a slight incline on the asphalt "Airstrip" to the 3-mile marker and onto the 5K finish. It's hilly, yes, but there are more downhills than uphills.
