Varsity Girls League Record: St. Francis 47.94 2015

Varsity Boys League Record: Bellarmine 42.02 2015

Archbishop Mitty is the top ranked relay team in CCS (48.58) and will be favored to win here. Provided they get the baton all the way around the track, the Monarchs will win followed by St. Francis which has a season best of 49.04. Both teams seem to be a lock to make the section meet but the short relay is never a sure thing and if one of the top two teams falter, St. Ignatius will be the next team in line (49.04).

In the boys' race, the team with the fastest time is Valley Christian SJ (42.42). They have a talented group that has experienced some of the bigger meets in California. They will be tested by the defending champion Bellarmine foursome who have also cracked the 43 second mark this season at 42.89. The real wild card in this race will be the host school St. Francis. They have a season best of 42.65 and will be anchored by the best sprinter in CCS, Brandon Bains. He is capable of running down any sprinter on the final straight provided his first three teammates put him in striking position.
