Davis senior Michael Vernau ran CA #1 3200m time of 9:07.65 yesterday at the Sacramento State High School Classic. It's also the 2nd fastest time in the nation trailing only Hunter Moore of Olentangy Orange (OH) with a time of 9:03.05. Also note that Jesuit freshman Matt Strangio ran 9:38.74 in the same race.
