We're Expanding, and We Need You! Join the MileSplitCA Coverage Team

We're looking to expand our meet coverage this school year, and we need enthusiastic, energetic people that love track & cross country!  In particular, we want to increase our emphasis on race video and video interviews, to build on our strong foundation of meet photos.  We need freelance reporters and videographers who are ready to jump in right away, and we even have opportunities for strong team members to advance to more regular positions and gain extra responsibilities.  In the long term, MileSplitCA is part of the rapidly growing FloSports family, and that means potential national opportunities for skilled contributors.  If you love track and cross country and are interested in a career in communications or the media, or you just want to stay involved with the sport in a new way and earn some money at the same time, let us open some doors for you!

Skills Needed:

• Knowledge of cross country and track at the high school level.
• Ability to travel to meets on Fridays and Saturdays.
• Computer skills: processing photos and/or videos for posting, operating web-based site functions.
• Outgoing personality that lets you approach and engage athletes and coaches for interviews.
• Access to a video or still camera is a bonus!
