Kaelin Roberts led the section in all three spring races on the season, but the Carson junior opted to focus on just the 200 and 400 for her run to the state meet.
For many athletes in the Los Angeles City Section, the season ended last weekend. The top performers get one more meet Thursday, and the elites (the top 3 in each event) will advance to the CIF State Meet in Clovis. This section also contains a potential team champion contender at the state level on the girls' side, which hasn't been the case lately.
