As we gear up for the CIF State Championship on Saturday at Woodward Park, we consult the MileSplit database again to see if it has anything to say about the potential team championship contenders. It's difficult to predict how teams from different parts of the state compare, because of the variation in course distances and difficulties from section to section. Still, we'll give it a try by running Virtual Meets for both 3 Mile and 5K, customized with the 23 qualifying teams for each division.
NOTE: these virtual meets only have the team advancers, not individuals. We will address those in our previews later this week.
